Last month, AT&T Mobility informed the CWA that the company was going to implement a COVID-19 Vaccination Policy requiring all Mobility employees, including those represented by CWA in all Districts, to be vaccinated against COVID-19 as a condition of employment.
On August 26, 2021, AT&T informed the Communications Workers of America (CWA) that it intended to implement a COVID-19 Vaccination Policy requiring all Wireline employees represented by CWA in Districts 3, 4, 6, 9 & CWA T&T, be vaccinated against COVID-19 as a condition of employment.
We met with the Company and continued negotiating. Several information requests remain open and the bargaining team made it clear we expect them filled immediately. The company made some proposals.
The CWA Bargaining Committee met with AT&T on Wednesday, January 25, 2017 to kick-off bargaining for a successor “Orange” Regional Agreement covering over 20,000 employees in CWA Districts 1, 2-13, 4, 7, and 9.
For more than five years, CWA members, allies, and working families throughout the country mobilized to expose this corporate-friendly trade deal and the serious consequences for working families and communities if it did take effect. CWA members and allies long have been ahead of Washington on the issue of TPP and trade policy, and this work built a strong public base of voters who rejected what they clearly recognized as bad deal, no matter their political party.
On Friday, September 23, 2016, your CWA Bargaining Committee met in multiple negotiation sessions with the Company Committee. During the afternoon bargaining session the Company Committee presented the Union Committee with what it described as their “final offer.”
