DirecTV employees in Ohio and Illinois are certified by AAA



  

    
On May 18th, the American Arbitrators Association certified that a majority of the 158 DirecTV technicians in the Ohio/Illinois unit (Hilliard, OH and Bellville, IL) chose to be represented by the CWA.


Congratulations to these workers and the CWA members who worked on this effort.


Local 4320's, President Jay Walther, organizer Phil Pennington, Gary Vogel, and Rob Ordorsic, as well as, Local 4217's, President Travis Young, VP Gary Dengler, and Keith Asher worked to gain majority support of the workers.

Today, the CWA bargaining committee met with AT&T and rejected the company's proposed mandatory vaccination policy for Union-represented employees.  Our committee further emphasized that CWA supports voluntary vaccination programs and opposes mandatory vaccination as a condition of employment.

On August 20th, CWA District 4 was able to reach an agreement with AT&T Labor to continue the AT&T U.S. Flexible Workplace Program through September 30th of 2022.
