                                       DIRECTV Bargaining Report #4

On Wednesday, September 14, 2016, the Communications Workers of America Bargaining Committees for Districts 3, 4 and 6 continued to study the Company’s package proposal and to prepare a response to that proposal. 

The Union Committee and the Company Committee have agreed to transition the DIRECTV Technician title into the Premise Technician title in Districts 4 and 6 and to place them in the appropriate Appendixes.  In District 3 the two parties have agreed to transition DIRECTV Technicians into the Wire Technician title and to place those Technicians into the Addendum. 

The Union Committee and the Company Committee will reconvene today, so that the Union might present a package counter proposal.  We will send out an update on the negotiations after that meeting.
