CWA D4 AT&T Midwest Bargaining Report #87

Following marathon bargaining sessions throughout this week, our committee has made significant progress towards resolving the key issues in these negotiations. All of the progress that has been made in the last two months has been in informal or "conceptual" discussions.
Over the days ahead, we hope to see that informal progress turn into formal written proposals that are presented across the table. Until we have seen written formal proposals, we cannot know for certain or report the progress that we have made.
Our committee continues to work around the clock, caucusing very late into the evening Wednesday night. We expect to begin to see written proposals today, but since it has been April 27 since we have had a formal written proposal, it will likely take a number of days to get through the proposals that we expect to see.
Mobilization News: Locals across the Midwest continue to hold informational pickets each week. Below is a picture of Local 4217 in action:

The next report will be Friday, July 10, or sooner should developments warrant.
